Support Veterans this November

Not only is Veterans Day on November 11th, but November is also National Veterans and Military Families Month. That’s why, as part of our Cocktails 4 a Cause Initiative, we are proud to salute our troops and partner with Caring Circle of Spectrum Health Lakeland and support the work they do with the “We Honor Veterans Program.”

The “We Honor Veterans Program” has recognized the unique needs of America’s Veterans and their families and partnered with community providers like Hospice at Home and Caring Circle to provide resources and education, as well as advocate for the care of local Veterans right here in Southwest Michigan. 

This month, across all Moersch Hospitality Group locations, we are showing our support with our DD-214 cocktail. The name for this drink came as a suggestion to us from the spouse of one of our very own who served in the United States Marine Corps. The "DD Form 214" is the official document a serviceman or woman receives when their active duty is complete and they are discharged. This drink is meant to honor our servicemen and women and celebrate homecomings by featuring our Round Barn Berrien Ridge Whiskey, maple syrup, apple cider, and sour mix.
